 Club Apiary 2005

This is the site of the Ayr and District Beekeepers Association Apiary at Monkwood Mains in Minishant.

This is how it started in 2005.  By the end of the year it is hoped to have 7 or 8 hives on the site.

It has a double brood box with an extra box to protect the feeder.  It has also got a mouse guard fitted to protect the stores and is weighted down ready for the strong winds.
